This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and customer feedback form, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and relevant issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

This policy applies to visitors of our website, customers who submit feedback (including via QR codes at our branches), and authorized staff who use the admin portal.

Branch visited, order type, and ratings
Comments, order details, and recommendation response
Optional name, phone number, and email

Technical information (automatically collected on submit)

IP address — used for spam prevention and security
Device type — derived from your browser (e.g. Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, Linux)
Approximate location — general area estimated from your internet connection (city/region/country). We do not collect precise GPS location from your device.
Browser / device information — a technical identifier string (User-Agent) stored for troubleshooting abuse

Website usage (analytics)

Page path — which pages you visit (e.g. menu, contact)
Optional branch context — when you select a branch on the menu page
Timestamp — when the view was recorded

We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Analytics data is not linked to your name, email, or feedback unless you voluntarily provide that information elsewhere.

Admin and operations

Admin account credentials (stored securely, not in plain text)
Audit logs when authorized staff delete feedback

3. Why we use this information

Improve food quality, service, and branch operations
Respond to concerns when you provide contact details
Prevent spam, duplicate submissions, and abuse
Secure our systems and comply with applicable law

4. Who can see your data

Feedback and technical metadata are visible only to authorized Cebu's Ayers Lechon administrators. We do not sell your personal data. We do not display IP addresses or technical details publicly on the website.

5. Where data is stored

Data is stored on secure cloud services (hosting and database providers) with industry-standard protections. Access is limited to systems required to operate the website.

6. How long we keep data

We retain feedback and related technical records for as long as needed to operate our quality program and meet legal obligations, unless a longer period is required by law. Older records may be deleted as part of routine data management.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to:

Be informed about how your data is processed
Access or correct inaccurate personal data
Object to or request deletion where applicable
File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission

We use measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls for admin areas, rate limiting, and secure password storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we work to protect data using reasonable safeguards.

Our feedback form is intended for general customers. If you believe a minor submitted personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the feedback form after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy.
